Sobol’s creative journey began behind the beauty counter at Barneys, Beverly Hills. It was there she read Francois Nars’ book Makeup Your Mind: Express Yourself, and her interest in makeup quickly became a passion.
After completing her training with M.A.C. at their flagship store in San Francisco, Sobol soon moved to New York to fulfill her dream and creative passion, and from 2005 she spent her first 5 years working in TV & Film. It wasn’t long before her sights shifted from screen to print propelling her into the world of fashion. Sobol soon crossed paths with legendary makeup artist Diane Kendal, whom she was fortunate to work with for 4 years, gathering invaluable experience and skills.
Sobol then launched her career with Julian Watson Agency in 2015, and continually works with luxury clients including Dior, Proenza Schouler, Alexander Wang, and Hugo Boss. Her collaborators include Craig McDean, Collier Schorr, Tyrone Lebon, and Angelo Pennetta, as well as, Camilla Nickerson, Karl Templer, and Fabien Baron.
